Production Technologies

This two-year program allows students to earn dual credit towards an Associates Degree and/or certification in a variety of areas related to the manufacturing industry (For example; CAD, CNC, HVAC, Industrial Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, Major Appliance Technology, Millwright, Welding and more). Cutting edge technology has changed the way products are manufactured in the United States and abroad. These changes have increased the need for specialized careers in the development and maintenance of the computers/machines that produce the goods we use on a daily basis. This program is located at the Metropolitan Community College Business & Technology Campus and utilizes a variety of lab space and equipment to assist students in choosing the manufacturing career that is right for them. Internship opportunities during the 2nd semester of a student’s second year are available for the qualified candidate.
